TFL employees were behind on news and information and needed to be ahead of the customers if enquiries by commuters were made.
Information design needs to practical, fun, engaging and be understood by the staff. A successful pitch, an interactive experiential area for internal employees was produced, to inform current updates within the expansive network, per line, per station. The display welcomed the employees with interactive various touch screens, internal website with keyboard data entry, as well as informative branded floor and wall messaging with dispensable kiosks for leaflets to always be up to date. Designed to be fixed at Holborn HQ, and portable for the conference road shows. The installation provided the beginning of stronger bonds within each tube line teams and also gave each member more confidence when being approached for information.
